Enjoy freshly fried, piping hot kushikatsu to your heart's content! All-you-can-eat kushikatsu to savor Osaka's flavors as much as you like.
東京都目黒区 / カフェ・グルメ
A 5-minute walk from Nakameguro Station. Exit the ticket gate at Nakameguro Station, turn left, and then turn right onto Yamate-dori.
Continue straight along Yamate-dori for a while, and you'll see "Kushikatsu Tanaka Nakameguro Store" on your left.
Nestled on a quiet street slightly away from the city's hustle and bustle, the modern brick-style building and lush greenery surrounding the store create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Dogs allowed inside!
The interior is a lively and bustling space, with an atmosphere that makes it easy to drop in for a break with your dog.
Wood-grain tables and counters, colorful round chairs, and spacious seating are perfect for relaxing with your beloved dog.
Once seated, you'll be served complimentary cabbage.
Kushikatsu Tanaka's complimentary cabbage is not just a side dish.
It's a star supporting actor for enjoying the famous kushikatsu deliciously and delightfully.
Between bites of freshly fried, piping hot kushikatsu, a crisp, cold piece of cabbage will refresh your palate.
Cabbage is refillable, so you won't get tired of eating kushikatsu no matter how much you have.
Furthermore, the cabbage can also be used as a scoop for the sauce.
Using the hollow of the cabbage to generously drench your kushikatsu in sauce is truly emblematic of the Kushikatsu Tanaka eating style.
When it comes to Kushikatsu Tanaka, the proud kushikatsu is an absolute must-try.
Inheriting the traditional taste loved in Osaka's downtown, we use an original blend meticulously crafted for the batter, oil, and sauce. The batter is crispy and light, designed to avoid any greasiness.
To ensure you enjoy the freshly fried, crispy, and light texture, each kushikatsu skewer is carefully fried one by one after your order is placed.
The lineup is extensive, with over 30 varieties, from classic meat skewers like pork and beef, to vegetables like eggplant and yam, seafood like shrimp and horse mackerel fry, and even unique options like cheese and banana.
Another appeal is that you can enjoy them affordably, starting from 77 yen (tax included) per skewer.
Additionally, seasonal limited-time kushikatsu made with seasonal ingredients are also available, so you can always look forward to discovering new flavors with every visit.
The true pleasure of Kushikatsu Tanaka is enjoying a variety of traditional Osaka B-grade gourmet dishes alongside the famous kushikatsu.
One of our signature dishes, "Gyusuji Dote," boasts incredibly tender beef sinew stewed slowly in a special sweet miso sauce.
Kushikatsu Tanaka's hidden popular menu item, "Nama Ham Yukke" (Prosciutto Yukhoe).
Break the rich egg yolk and mix it with the salty prosciutto, and a mellow richness and the umami of prosciutto will spread in your mouth.
The special sauce further enhances its deliciousness.
The melting egg yolk and the moist texture of the prosciutto intertwine exquisitely, making it a perfect accompaniment for drinks.
The popular "Horumon-yaki" (Grilled Offal) is a dish of plump, fresh offal stir-fried in a sweet and spicy special sauce.
When you bite into it with crisp bean sprouts, onions, and other vegetables, the rich umami of the offal and the sweetness of the vegetables will fill your mouth.
"Toro Gari Taku" is a refreshing palate cleanser and a perfect accompaniment for drinks.
Melting seared tuna (negitoro) is combined with the refreshing spiciness and crispness of gari (pickled ginger) and the crunchy texture of takuan (pickled daikon), creating an exquisite harmony in your mouth.
"Buta Harami Yaki" (Grilled Pork Skirt Steak) at Kushikatsu Tanaka offers a simple yet distinct flavor of pork, different from kushikatsu.
Marinated in shio koji (salted rice malt), one bite reveals an astonishingly tender and juicy texture.
With every chew, the rich umami of the pork spreads in your mouth, a deliciousness that will make you groan with satisfaction.
Kushikatsu Tanaka's rapidly rising popular menu item, "Poterico".
This is a new sensation of freshly fried snack, an arrangement of Calbee's long-loved "Jagarico".
The unique texture, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, is irresistible.
Packed with the original flavor of potato, it's so delicious you won't be able to stop eating once you start.
For cheese lovers, the irresistible "Negi Mamire no Chi-Hirayaki" (Cheese and Green Onion Flat Omelet) is an Osaka "Tonpeiyaki" arrangement.
When you break open the hot, fluffy egg filled with cheese and green onions, the melting cheese oozing out from inside is simply irresistible.
"Tanaka no Nikudofu" (Tanaka's Beef and Tofu Stew) features beef and tofu simmered in a special sweet miso, characterized by its meltingly tender texture.
"Reisei Pirikara Buta Shabu" (Cold Spicy Pork Shabu-Shabu) features a special sweet and spicy sauce with chili oil that coats the refreshing cold pork shabu-shabu, creating an addictive deliciousness with every bite.
DIY menus that you can make yourself are also very popular!
Among them, the especially popular "Potato Salad" is served with ingredients like potatoes and boiled eggs separately, allowing you to enjoy the fun of mixing them yourself in a mortar.
Making it together with family and your beloved dog, while having fun, makes it even more delicious.
To conclude your meal at Kushikatsu Tanaka, we recommend one of our signature dishes, "Kasu Udon".
It uses "Abura Kasu" (deep-fried beef small intestine), which is high in protein, low in fat, and rich in collagen, made in Habikino, Osaka. The deep umami of the abura kasu melts into the special dashi broth.
It has a light mouthfeel yet an unforgettable deep flavor.
After thoroughly enjoying kushikatsu, how about finishing with this gentle flavor?
As another dish to finish your meal, we'd like to introduce "Ta-Napolitan," where you can savor a nostalgic taste.
Served on a sizzling hot plate, this Napolitan pasta with its sweet and sour ketchup-based sauce will remind you of a classic, old-fashioned flavor.
Simple ingredients like sausages, onions, and bell peppers further enhance that nostalgic feeling.
One bite brings a comforting deliciousness that warms your heart.
Even after enjoying plenty of kushikatsu, it has a mysterious charm that makes you keep eating.
We also offer a variety of delightful desserts for sweet lovers.
You can enjoy unique desserts specific to a kushikatsu specialty store, such as the irresistible "Cookie Cream Skewer" with its sweetness and crispy fried texture, or the hot and chewy "Banana Skewer".
Also popular is the unique "Shake" that you knead until it reaches your preferred softness.
We offer a wide range of original desserts, including "Mascar Mango," a combination of mascarpone, mango, and tapioca, and soft-serve ice cream that can be enjoyed as a refreshing treat after kushikatsu.
Kushikatsu Tanaka offers popular all-you-can-eat plans where you can fully enjoy kushikatsu and Osaka specialties.
All-you-can-eat Kushikatsu Only Course: 2,080 yen (tax included) for adults.
Almost All-Items All-You-Can-Eat Course: 2,980 yen (tax included) for adults.
Both courses allow you to choose as many as you like from about 30 varieties, from classic kushikatsu to unique ones.
Especially with the "Almost All-Items All-You-Can-Eat Course," side dishes other than kushikatsu are also included, so you can enjoy french fries that kids love and à la carte dishes that adults appreciate.
Everyone is sure to have a lively time comparing various kushikatsu!

Also, don't miss Kushikatsu Tanaka's original drinks.
Highballs and sours made with Osaka's soul drink, "Hiyashi Ame" (chilled candy drink), offer a unique experience you won't find elsewhere.
It's not just about drinking; the fun mechanisms are also appealing.
