Editorial Policy

最終更新日:

Inucomi columns aim to help people living with dogs use well-sourced information in everyday decisions about outings, rules and procedures, health and behavior, seasonal events, food and care, training, and dogs in culture.

Editorial responsibility

The Inucomi Editorial Team produces our columns. Before publication, we check the content against its sources, review wording, and check that advertisements are clearly distinguished from editorial content. The team is responsible for deciding what to publish. If an article has an expert reviewer, that reviewer is identified in the article. Articles without a reviewer label should not be understood as having received expert review.

Evidence and sources

We prioritize primary information published by government ministries, local authorities, academic societies, and other public institutions. Articles identify the source publisher, document title, URL, and date accessed. We take care to state the regions, groups, and dates to which rules and figures apply. When we confirm a change or an error, we correct the article as needed and display its updated date.

Health information

Articles about health and the body provide general information. They do not make individual decisions about diagnosis, treatment, or medication. If you are concerned about your dog's health, consult your veterinarian.

Advertising

We distinguish advertising placements from editorial content and label them as “Advertisements”. Advertising placements are handled separately from checks on article content and sources. When a column mentions a store, the presence of advertising is not a basis for recommending or ranking that store.

Use of AI and verification

We may use generative AI for parts of research, drafting, English translation, and verification. Because AI output can contain errors, we check it against sources and review its wording. The Editorial Team decides what to publish. AI output alone is not treated as evidence of a fact or an expert opinion.

Reporting errors

If you find an error or outdated information, use our contact form to tell us the article URL and the relevant passage. We will review the report and make corrections as needed. Please do not include personal addresses, phone numbers, medical records, or other personal information that is unnecessary for checking the report.
